
Virgin Group had a newcomer in Formula One to cut his experiments, the pre-season on Thursday in the Spanish city of Jerez after a malfunction occurs in the front wing of a car driver Timo Glock.
The German driver completed 11 laps on the track only Spanish, and then faced the problem in his car, but Nick Wirth Virgin boss said that the team familiar with the matter and decided to continue tests on Friday.
Wirth said in a statement: "This morning we had a problem in the front wing, which led to separation from the car at the beginning of the tests, but we know the reason for that."
On the other hand succeeded Spaniard Fernando Alonso completed 79 laps in the Ferrari car.
